Description
Tunisian bryozoans are poorly studied, their knowledge was based especially on some old works. An updated list counting 201 was conducted by d’Hondt & Mascarell (2004) by adding to the previous literature data a total of 22 species. More recently, some studies carried out in northern Tunisia by Ayari et al. (2008; 2012a; 2012b; 2014 and 2022), resulted in the identification of 72 bryozoan species, among which 26 species were newly added to the Tunisian fauna. The dataset of the Tunisian bryozoans reported by Ayari since 2004 groups those signalizations giving information about their distribution and habitats.
Data Records
The data in this sampling event resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 28 records.
2 extension data tables also exist. An extension record supplies extra information about a core record. The number of records in each extension data table is illustrated below.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.
